Fundraiser Workshop

Laughter was in no short supply during Poorly Drawn Pets fundraiser for BARCS this last Thursday (May 21) as participants gathered to create hilariously imperfect portraits of beloved pets in exchange for donations benefiting BARCS.

Hosted by resident artist Alessandra Keener, the event encouraged everyone to leave perfection at the door and simply have fun. The result was a collection of wonderfully wonky pet portraits, plenty of laughs, and a room full of people enjoying the creative process together.

Beyond the drawings, the event was a chance to meet fellow creatives, share stories about our pets, and support a great cause.

Thank you to everyone who participated and embraced the spirit of creating for fun. Some "masterpieces" were made and every one of them helped support animals in need.

A special thank you to Alessandra for bringing her yearly fundraiser event to the Studios at 234 and making the afternoon a memorable one.
