Taking the time to celebrate the people who make our community possible!
Reisterstown Main Street is proud to recognize Jonathan Young as our newest Volunteer Appreciation Award recipient.
Jonathan is one of our youngest volunteers, but he has already spent years showing up whenever help is needed. During his summer breaks, he has regularly volunteered behind the scenes at Music on Main Street, the Reisterstown Farmers Market, and other community events, helping with everything from setup to cleanup.
He is dependable, hardworking, and always willing to lend a hand. Jonathan is often there before an event begins and stays until the last tables, tents, and supplies are packed away. That kind of commitment makes a tremendous difference to the volunteers and staff working to bring Reisterstown's events and programs to life.
What makes Jonathan especially deserving of this recognition is the consistency of his service. He doesn't volunteer for attention or recognition—he simply sees something that needs to be done and helps get it done.
We are fortunate to have a young community member who understands the importance of giving his time and energy to the place he calls home.
Congratulations, Jonathan, and thank you for everything you continue to do for Reisterstown Main Street.

Susan is one of those volunteers who simply shows up—ready to help, sleeves rolled up, and always bringing her gardening talents, strong work ethic, and generous spirit to the work that keeps Main Street looking its best. From helping clean the Main Street to the Franklin Woodland trails she is always pitching in wherever an extra set of hands is needed, Susan gives her time and energy freely to support the community we all share.
