Classical fine art instruction for ages 8-adult. Formal fine art training based on time honored classical methods of traditional realism. Instruction is individual within the class and is presented in a relaxed, constructive environment. Students work at their own pace and comfort level, beginning with basic charcoal drawing and progressing into pastels and oils. Our emphasis is on fundamentals as opposed to any particular style. Our method of individual instruction is crucial for the well-being and development of our young students, who usually excel as they progress through the school years. Portfolio development for all levels from middle school to college is offered on an individual basis. Magnet school preparation is a specialty. Many of our adult students are returning to their art "roots" from years ago, and many are pure beginners who have always wanted to learn how to draw or paint. Most find that our system of teaching enables them to begin creating fine art very quickly. Regardless of age or experience level we can help students to reach their goals!
