Last Updated 10/23/2024

A LARGE Celebration of Art on Main Street

We are thrilled to announce the completion of a stunning new mural at Elephant's Trunk Children’s Consignment, located at 317 Main Street. This vibrant piece of public art is a joyful addition to Reisterstown’s growing collection of murals, helping to enliven our town’s historic Main Street and contribute to its revitalization efforts.

The creative vision behind this beautiful mural was conceptualized by the incredibly talented Charles Lawrence of Finart. His unique perspective has transformed the exterior of Elephant's Trunk, making it a true visual landmark. The mural’s bright colors, playful design, and whimsical imagery reflect the spirit of the children’s consignment store while capturing the welcoming and community-oriented atmosphere of Reisterstown.

Gratitude to Our Partners

This project was made possible thanks to a grant secured by Reisterstown Main Street.

Our organization is dedicated to enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the district, and public art plays a significant role in making Main Street a more vibrant, welcoming place for both residents and visitors.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to Charles Lawrence, who took the time to understand the heart and soul of this community and express it so vividly through his work. His mural now stands as a testament to the power of creativity in shaping our town's identity and brightening its future.

Looking Ahead

With this mural complete, Reisterstown Main Street continues to pursue opportunities to beautify and enrich our neighborhood through public art. Our hope is that this mural, along with others along the corridor, will inspire local pride and make a lasting impression on everyone who visits Main Street.

Be sure to stop by Elephant’s Trunk at 317 Main Street to see this incredible work of art in person, and continue supporting the local businesses that make our town special!
