The Organization Committee is the backbone of Reisterstown Main Street’s revitalization efforts. This committee brings people together, business owners, residents, partners, and volunteers, to make sure everyone is working toward the same shared vision for our community. By building strong relationships and encouraging collaboration, the Organization Committee keeps Main Street moving forward with purpose and unity.

What We Do

Recruit Volunteers: Bringing in new voices and fresh energy to support our mission and ongoing projects.
Build Community Partnerships: Working with organizations, businesses, and local leaders to broaden perspectives and strengthen revitalization efforts.
Create Consensus: Helping businesses, property owners, residents, and partners align around common goals.
Support Strong Structure: Overseeing RIA’s board of directors and standing committees to ensure clear roles, efficient work, and smooth operations.
Celebrate Local Supporters: Recognizing and uplifting partners who champion Main Street’s programs, events, and initiatives.

Grant Committee- Turning Ideas Into Funded Projects

The Grant Committee plays a vital role in the success of the program, helping secure the funding that keeps Main Street growing, improving, and thriving. Through thoughtful research, collaboration, and careful administration, this committee ensures that every grant opportunity aligns with RIA’s goals and the needs of the community.

What We Do

Identify Needs: Work closely with the committees to understand priorities and match them with the right funding opportunities.
Research Grants: Seek out local, state, and national grants that support Main Street projects and long-term goals.
Support Grant Writing: Assist committee chairs with drafting, refining, and strengthening grant applications.
Manage Administration: Oversee submissions, ensure compliance with all requirements, and maintain organized records for each grant.
Implement Projects: Collaborate with committee chairs to carry out grant-funded projects efficiently and effectively.
