A member-driven organization, the Chamber strengthens the community by identifying needs and opportunities and then develops programs and events to address those needs. We meet and collaborate with business, community and government leaders to improve the business climate and quality of life where we live and work. Committees of volunteers from member businesses help the Chamber implement and achieve its goals. Chamber members have a vested interest in the health and well-being of both the business and residential community.
Founded in 1949The Reisterstown – Owings Mills – Glyndon Chamber of Commerce, a 501(c)(6) organization, was founded in 1949 to promote the economic development of the three towns. A growing membership and interest from neighboring areas prompted us to change our name to the Northwest Chamber of Commerce and in doing so include our geographically diverse membership. For over seventy years the Northwest Chamber has been dedicated to working side by side with our membership and community leaders to nurture and support businesses while creating a vibrant and engaging community. The Northwest Chamber will continue to elevate our members and expand our programming to meet the needs of your business.
