Shop Local. Give Local. Think Local.
Small Business Saturday is all about supporting your favorite neighborhood shops, and #GivingTuesday is a day to show your generosity. As you make your end-of-year giving plans, we invite you to think local and consider supporting Reisterstown Main Street.
Part of the Main Street Maryland Program since 2019, Reisterstown Main Street earned State and National Accreditation in 2024, recognizing our dedication to preserving local history, supporting small businesses, and keeping our community connected. This recognition not only helps us revitalize Main Street but also opens doors to new grant opportunities that benefit the entire district.
To continue this important work, we rely on community support—and that’s where you come in. Your contribution helps fund events, beautification projects, and local initiatives that make Reisterstown thrive.
Do any of your employees live in Reisterstown? Encourage them to participate—many employers offer matching gift programs that can double the impact of their donations! Please let us know if that is a consideration as we are happy to help with how to manage that goal as well.
Our goal is to raise $10,000 today - please help us to improve your town!
Please tell your friends and family how easy it is to help and brag about your town with its safe well-lit sidewalks including solar lighting and special “Wheels of Time” hand forged sculpture in the pocket park “Reister’s Desire” behind 202 Main Street next to our town’s historic community cemetery, our colorful murals, artistic mosaic planters, gaming tables and hand forged wagon wheel bike racks while strolling on Main Street. There are fun and unique shopping opportunities, summer concerts and farmers markets, fun family events throughout the year, great restaurants to eat local, and 250 + years of history to explore.
Come be part of our Community Meeting at Trinity Lutheran Church – Life Center Room.Learn about upcoming plans for Reisterstown Main Street, share your experiences, and connect with others who care about the future of our town.
Your participation helps us build a stronger, more vibrant community and ensures Main Street continues to grow and thrive.
