In today’s world, funding for community nonprofits is more challenging than ever, yet the need continues to grow. The Reisterstown Improvement Association, Inc. (RIA) works to preserve our town’s historic charm while supporting growth, creativity, and community connection along Main Street.
Since joining Main Street Maryland in 2019, RIA has opened doors for revitalization and grants, and in 2025 we were honored with National Accreditation, reflecting the impact of our shared efforts.
This year has been remarkable: we completed Design Guidelines for Main Street improvements, launched the Junior Main Street Program, continued public art and beautification projects, revitalized the Franklin Woodland Trails, and hosted signature events like Bloomin’ ArtFest, Music on Main Street, and the Farmers Market. We also opened our new home at 234 Main Street, featuring the Welcome Center & Museum Room, and will soon launch The Studios at 234, a creative coworking space for local artists and entrepreneurs.
Looking ahead to 2026, we have much more to accomplish—but we can’t do it without your support.
