Vendor Profiles: Our Growing Family

Our farm family is growing. Literally. This season features many of your favorites and so much more. You won't believe the variety at this year's market... Sundays 9am - 1pm, June 2nd - October 27th.

The Reisterstown Farmers' Market was busy with 300 visitors strolling through the market enjoying food tastings at the baked goods tables and discovering new crafts. light showers didn't keep visitors away browsing and shopping with over 25 vendors. Tomatoes, corn, and kale were hot items at the market. The word is out - we have fresh goat meat! Visitors loved the newly expanded selection of jams with really cool fruit combinations.  The market is located on the front lawn of Franklin Middle School. The first Sunday of every month includes flea market stands for a setup fee of $5. The market is open 9am - 1pm.  

--Join us for lunch with Good Ole Grits & Grub - American Soul Food serving us Shrimp, Chicken, Fish, and cheesy buttery grits; come out and enjoy a variety of loaded gourmet baked potatoes with delicious toppings from Craving Potato Factory; or, just cool off at Rita's Italian Ice tent.

--Author Janet Reasar will be at the market with her book. 

-- Martin's Miracle Cream booth demonstrated how to apply body cream for the summer months.

-- Costco recruited new members and impressed everyone with their exclusive membership benefits.

--The Reisterstown history table was inspiring everyone with our historic architecture and sharing books on local history. Many names found in the Reisterstown Community Cemetery are now the names of familiar roads and towns including founding father, John Reister and family members. It's the final resting place for may veterans from the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, the Mexican-American War, the Civil War (both Union and Confederate), the Spanish-American War, World War I and World War II.
