Franklin Woodland Trail History

Our town trail system began with a letter to the Board of Education in 1959 and then in the Fall of 1972 Kenneth Mays, Principal and Carroll Swam, 6th grade teacher at Franklin Elementary School surveyed the land....

Our town offers so many shops with unique items from a local owner-operated businesses. They know how to stock their stores with that special item you won't find in large box stores.

Check your local business on Main Street when you are looking for a service. Do you need your hair done, your eyes checked, your teeth fixed, see a doctor, get legal or accounting services, fix your car, and so much more...

While you stroll along Main Street to "stop in shops", walk the "Franklin Woodland Trail" take time to get a bite to eat at one of our restaurants.
